Course Objective:
Are you a rescue diver with the passion for diving? Are you looking to learn more about the dive industry or want to work as a dive guide? Or are you just looking to add to your overall diving knowledge and skill? This course is designed to take your dive skills to the next level, change your focus on your dive clients, and to take your passion and make it a career. You will learn the necessary techniques, skills, and procedures to teach numerous courses and to guide dives. This course will tune your skills to near perfection as you will be demonstrating these skills for instructors and in refreshers. Your dive guiding skills will be developed to take even the most challenging client out for a dive and to give them an unforgivable experience. You will gain dive knowledge, management, and supervision abilities, so you become a role model to divers everywhere.
Prerequisites:

PADI Rescue Diver or Equivalent (from another training agency)

18 years of age

EFT Primary & Secondary Care Certified (within the last 2 years)

Diver Medical - Participant Questionnaire approved and signed by a doctor within the last year

40 Logged Dives to start, 60 Logged Dives to finish

Waterskills Exercises (400 yard timed swim & 800 yard timed snorkel swim, 15 minute tread, underwater equipment exchange, & 100 yard timed tired diver tow)

Diver Rescue Assessment (learn how to properly care for an unconscious diver at the surface & pass a final assessment)

Dive Skills Workshop & Assessment (learn how to demonstrate all 20 scuba skills with near perfection & pass a final assessment)

Most of our courses offer free rental gear, however at this level it is required that the divemaster candidate owns all of the necessary scuba equipment to work as a divemaster.

How Many Students In The Course?
In this course the candidate will be placed under the supervision and guidance of their mentoring instructor. This doesn't mean that multiple students or candidates will be interacting together.
How Long Is The Course?
This course is generally 10 - 21 days in length. The course can be completed in a shorter amount of time if the candidate can be made available for more hours per day and if they complete the eLearning.
