PADI Scuba Diver Certification

Get certified to dive to 40' with a dive professional in just 2 days!

scuba diver diving in shallow water

Course Objective:

The PADI Scuba Diver Certification is a great option for those tight on time. Normally, students take the Full Open Water Course as their entry level scuba course. However, that course is 3 full days long, plus several hours to complete the independent study. This course was designed for those that just don't have the time on their vacation to complete all of the work. The PADI Scuba Diver Certification was designed to allow aspiring divers to learn the basics of diving. In this course they will only complete HALF of what is required to be a FULL Open Water Certified Diver, but the diver can upgrade to the full Open Water status at any time by completing the remaining course work.

Prerequisites:

  • 10 years of age for the PADI Scuba Diver Certification (Limited to 40' and must dive with a professional)

  •  Must be able to swim and be comfortable in the water

  • Complete the DIVER MEDICAL - Participant Questionnaire. Read the form carefully. If you are able to answer "YES" to any of the questions, a Physician must SIGN OFF and give APPROVAL for you to participate in diving activities.

PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE, understand we WILL NOT allow you in the pool or ocean if you have a YES without a  signed medical. We have been the "bad guys" before due to this issue. We will not risk our students safety just so they can try scuba diving.

What is Involved?

  • (3) - Sections of Independent Study (eLearning) to understand the basic principles of diving.

  • Knowledge Development Sessions (Classroom) to ensure and understand the basic diving principles and safety concepts.

  • (3) - Confined Water Dives (Pool Dives) to learn the basic scuba skills.

  • (2) - Open Water Dives (Shore Ocean Dives) to review your skills and explore the underwater environment
