Learn how our actions as humans and divers directly affect our sea turtle population, nesting habits, and well-being
Course Objective:
Learn basic sea turtle identification, how to record sightings and conservation steps you can take.
Prerequisites:

12+ years old

PADI Junior Open Water or higher

Complete the DIVER MEDICAL - Participant Questionnaire. Read the form carefully. If you are able to answer "YES" to any of the questions, a Physician must SIGN OFF and give APPROVAL for you to participate in diving activities.
What is Involved?

Become familiar with the role of Project AWARE in preserving the aquatic environment.

Introduce sea turtle species common in temperate or tropical waters.

Provide you with the knowledge and skills needed to identify turtles and record sightings.

Inform you about the decline of sea turtle populations, importance of sea turtles to marine biodiversity and what you can do to reduce the loss of sea turtles worldwide.

How Many Students In The Course?
We are Proud to Offer PRIVATE / SEMI PRIVATE COURSES. Our courses are smaller, allowing us to focus on your every need, as you become a certified PADI PROJECT AWARE Sea Turtle Conservation Diver. We enroll an average of 3 students per instructor. Many of our courses are PRIVATE, with 1 on 1 Instruction.
